is it possible to extend this for another 30 days at phuket immigration for 1900 baht?

You can extend your 30 day visa exempt entry for 30 days. You can do it at the Patong office which normally is less busy than the main office.

A Visa on Arrival is only available for a few nationalities and costs 1,000 Baht.

Gives a stay of 15 days.

So the terminology is important.
