How Long Will I Be Allowed To Stay On My ReEntry Permit

Featured Replies

Applied for a Non Immigrant, one year multiple entry based on marriage and kids early september at the Thai embassy in Oslo. All the paperwork in order. Also submitted a invitation letter from my wife, where she explained that I worked offshore 5 weeks on and 5 weeks off. And that I spend all my time off with my family in Thailand. She also wrote in the letter that she hoped I could get a multiple entry. The letter was written with the help of my wifes uncle who is a lawyer. Very formal and polite.

At the embassy, a not so polite female went through my application and told me she would only let me apply for a single entry since I had a return ticket??

Got the single entry non immigrant 9th of september. Entered into Thailand 1st of October, and was allowed to stay until 29th of December.

I left Thailand yesterday 10th of November and got a reentry permit at the airport, valid until 29th of December. I am probably entering Thailand again around 5th of december.

My question is.... How long will the allow me to stay? Until 29th of December? Or another 3 months?

Much Appreciated

Nana

  • Until the 29th December.

As you are married you can apply for a 60 day extension near the end of December. It's a simple application that doesn't require any financial details and costs 1,900 baht.

It's also possible to obtain a 1 year multiple entry non 'O' visa from Savannakhet, Laos. No financial details needed.
