Palestinian killed as Israeli forces mount undercover raid Hebron hospital

606x341_316999.jpg

HEBRON: -- Undercover Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian and seized a man suspected of stabbing and wounding an Israeli in a hospital in Hebron.

Closed circuit footage from the al-Ahli hospital in Hebron shows the group, one masquerading as a pregnant woman pulling guns on hospital staff.

Later the men, part of the undercover unit known as Duvedan are seen hustling their captive out of the hospital in a wheelchair.

Behind them lying dead in the hospital room from where Azzam Shalaldeh was taken was his cousin Abdallah.

The facts around the killing are disputed. Israel’s Shin Bet security agency claim the victim attacked the Israeli forces. Azzam Shalaldeh’s brother who was in the room said his cousin was shot without warning when he emerged from the bathroom.

Later hundreds packed streets in Hebron for the funeral of Abdallah Shalaldeh.

He is the latest to die in a surge of violence in which ten Israelis and dozens of Palestinians have been killed
.
Many of the Palestinians fatalities were shot carrying out stabbing attacks.

The facts are disputed.

But it seems rather clear extra casualties weren't exactly in the plan.

However, surely Israel has the right to pursue terrorists and bring them to justice.

It appears that was the intent here anyway but then it got messy.

This group known as "The Arabian one" which in Hebrew translates to special forces disguised as Arabs, speak fluent Arabic, looks, dressed and behave like the Arab populations around them in order to bland in and root out the trouble makers with minimum unnecessary casualties to the ordinary folks.... I'm sure that the esteemed Palestinians cause siders of this forum will find the information above very useful....

Maybe they have so then it's OK for the Palestinians to go after Israelis who kills Palestinians. RIGHT!?

Israeli foreign affairs 1987-2011:

142 Israeli kids killed

1620 Palestinian kids killed

OCHA 2005-2008

12 Israeli kids killed and 14 injured

309 Palestinian kids killed and 864 injured

Can you see the proportions?

Right. And it seems as if it OK to masquerade as an Israeli in order to get close to the target.

He wasn't a suspect... he was the target of a death squad.

As usual, the forces of evil are allowed to kill people with impunity. Was this reported in the west? Unlikely, as the mainstream media tends to protect Israel.

If the man (the cousin of the arrested man), "spooked" the agents who got dressed up, did he deserve to be killed? Did the innocent public in the hospital deserve to be put at risk? After all, hospitals are 24 institutions.

So if I get spooked by a man with a beard and a skull cap coming out of a toilet, or one of the haredem, am I now allowed to shoot him with impunity?

This will be another case that will go to the ICC, among a long list of others.

Correct, virtually ignored as was the incident involving the terrorist Dr Goldstein, Israeli/US who murdered 29 people in a mosque in cold blood. Many Israelis stil regard as a national hero, along with the Kahane lunatic, and would sing songs of praise, worship at his grave, have their kids dress as him.

But still the U.S. press likes to paint Israel as pure as the driven snow

I do believe there is only 7 corporations that own all the TV media and news papers in the US now. And they all have a very strong Jewish influence. Not to mention the Jewish media monopoly in the rest of the western world.

So yeah your gonna get sort of a one sided perspective on things.

The press are beating the war drums pretty hard after this last attack. They might just get the Israeli's their ultimate wish, war with Iran via Syria. It would be like a wet dream for them.

"Many" isralelis does NOT regard Goldstein as a hero.Maybe the US press is painting Israel as pure, but you should come here to Europe and here it`s the opposite. In the European press Palestinians who attack people on the street is described as brave freedom fighters.

BTW: Congrats to the brave members of the Duvdean unit thumbsup.gif

A bunch of those "brave free fighters" just struck in France. There is little difference between ISIS and Hamas. What will the foolish European Press say when Islamic terrorists strike London and elsewhere again? Remember Lee Rigby!

'Israel’s Shin Bet security agency claim the victim attacked the Israeli forces.' What, in the hospital?

Yeah, why not? Were you there?

No, but 21 heavily armed trigger happy IDF against one were. How on earth could he have been a threat to them..in a hospital?

There is a huge difference. For starters Palestinians are the sworn enemies of ISIS, because ISIS have killed hundreds of Palestinians in a Damascus refugee camp.

But you want to jump on the hatefest bandwagon to conflate the heinous crimes in Paris with resistance to Israeli occupation. Shameful

If they attack concerts with civillians... surely it is reasonable to accept that the man may well attack soldiers in a hospital.

Who is they?

If Israelis can attack innocents as collective punishment then it is reasonable to accept that they will attack anyone.

Either you are ignorant of the issues surrounding the Occupation of Palestine by Israel and the resistance to their invasion, or you are deliberately trying to hijack the thread to associate it with the heinous atrocity committed by ISIS, which would be a shameful insult to the memories of the innocents murdered in Paris.

The individuals involved are usually arab. They may be of the jewish religion, or agnostic or other, but they are "arab". They are drawn from Israelis who trace their family origins to arab countries, from which their families were forced to flee. Israel is chock full of arab jews who come from Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. The older generations came from Iraq, and Egypt. As such they grew up in families where arab slang and mannerisms were familiar.

They then undergo education and training to ensure that they can pass as local arabs when they must work undercover. They don't need to too much to disguise themselves if they are free of any western dna.

It was a reply to the post doubting that an individual would attack the soldiers in a hospital. My point is that location has nothing to do with ones decission to attack. Secondly... if it were my family member about to be carted away I myself would quite possibly have physically tried to stop or delay the soldiers... thay's what family often do. So, I do not find it unbelievable that in thos case the soldiers were attacked by the deceased.

He only had to be a real threat to one of them.
