Fake Gun On The Beach

Featured Replies

My gf and I were walking south on the oft broken sidewalk affair on the beach side (on Beach Road) when my lady started to walk very fast. I caught up and asked her what the problem was. She said we just passed a man who was holding a black and silver gun in his left hand. Hmm. In 300 meters or so we saw a Thai female volunteer police dessed all in black sitting on a motor scooter. I pushed my gf to report what she saw. The volunteer cop brushed it off, saying the gun was fake and he had a crazy head.

BTW, from Soi 10 (about) to Soi 13/3 there were no other police visable, real or otherwise. But a h*ll of a lot of crazies.

I like the way your GF decided to run off without informing you that there was a gun yeilding maniac just meters away :o Quality.

Most of these Thai boys in Pattaya who carry hand guns, usually S.A. pistols, and hardly ever revolvers, have little serious practise using (them). They are hardly ever successful in killing, except at point blank range (3 feet) and a contact shot.

They are usually cowards and do not adopt the 'quick fire' two hand grip.

I would fear a silent knife attack more than a Thai firearm threat at ten metres.

Well that's ok then. I feel much safer now :o:D

How did he know it was fake?. A little flag coming out of the barrel saying "bang".?.

Oh, and to the chap talking about quick fire handgun moves - sorry guv, the old method of holding the handgun at waist level and shooting where your body is pointed works just great.

Ask any ex military Brit...........for the past 60 years.

Cheers,

Couthy.
