cooked
It seems that no one in Thailand is capable or repairing my spectacle frame (a nose pad dropped off). No one can put my lenses into an old frame which is the same size and still has lenses in it. In Switzerland this would be done in 10 minutes for a modest fee, is there really nobody capable of repairing? Charoen opticians proposed making a new pair for ฿17 000.-. I can fly back home for ฿22 000.- so to hell with that. Pattaya?
oncearugge
You need to find a small privately owned/managed opticians shop. The big chains are only interested in selling. If you indicate whereabouts in Thailand you are based someone may be able to provide a recommendation.
