Silence of the Lambs

Featured Replies

The original 'Silence of the Lambs' movie from 1991 and subsequent follow ons ... how / where we can buy or download with Thai subtitles?

Have just watched the latest 'Hannibal' on True (with Thai subtitles) my wife wants to watch the earlier movies but really needs Thai to understand.

Have searched google and cannot find, any ideas please?

Popular enough movie you can likely find it or order it at a mall video store.

You should be able to find it in Maeng Pong (huge DVD/VCD store chain in Thailand). Downloading, though...hit or miss. Really depends on the movie. Frankly, one has better luck finding Thai movies with often decent fan subs on Bittorrent than one does popular Western films with Thai subs.

If it were 10 years ago, I would send you to the huge movie/music store in Emporium a few shops down from Kinokuya Books (hmm, was that a Maeng Pong? or a Tower Records? can't recall...)...they had a HUGE selection of Western films subtitled in Thai. But alas, that store is no more.

http://subscene.com/subtitles/the-silence-of-the-lambs - Thai subs here

subscene allows you to download subtitles, this movie being so old has already been translated 167 times, I usually use VLC player to allow subs to show - I connect my PC to TV to view the movie but maybe you wont be able to do this - my samsung tv also picks up SRT (subtitle flies) if I put the movie and the film on a USB stick and plug it into the TV

you have to make sure the subtitle file is the same name as the movie for it to work - I think its SRT
