I have a thai child, name on birth certificate, monies in bank, house book with thai partner id card, letter from partner and village head man, photos from hospital in buriram etc.

I have not got the legalized registration of myself being the father.

My agent at the cambodian border says that this is not required so my question to you chaps is what is required.

I have emailed the thai embassey phnom pehn but of course no reply.

Go to Savannakhet in Laos instead, get a 90 day single-entry, get it extended for 12 months at your local immigration office when you return.

PP is not visa friendly and can take 5 days to get a visa, with difficulty.

At most location the legitimization is not needed to get a single entry non-o visa based upon being the parent of a Thai. Not sure about PP.

I only choose pp because i only had to drive to the border then return 1 week later to collect.

It is not legal to get a visa issued while you are still in the country.

Many people have been caught for having fake stamps when doing it that way.
