The commercial stuff is restricted to the classifieds or banner type adds which can be easily ignored or removed. I think most people who have tried, find that the direct hard sell approach does not work well on ThaiVisa. You can garner more goodwill by becoming an active member and getting to know people, as opposed to just hawking your goods or services without contributing to the community.
