One way or Round-trip?

Featured Replies

Hello, I'm Anthony from Malaysia and i will go to Bangkok in December to study the Thai language for 6 months. I have a single entry ED Visa issued last Nov. 20. Do I need to get a one way or roundtrip ticket? I'm thinking of booking a one way flight because it's much cheaper. What do you suggest? Will I get problem at the immigration? Thanks hope to hear your opinions. smile.png

One way if you have a visa I do believe.

Yep, should be ok one way.

You have a visa. One way ticket fine

Return/onward ticket only required for visa exempt (no visa) entry.

Timatic supplies official information for the airlines.

You can check your own through the KLM website:

(nothing KLM specific(

(Nationality Malaysia, Destination country Thailand, Embarkation Malaysia)

- Visitors who are visa exempt but do not hold return/onward tickets could be refused entry.
