Is there any "tricks"into getting better battery life out of a charge .. I can barely get 8 hrs of standby at present. All my apps are "turned off" .. Thanks in advance .. PS Battery is new , though more then likely not an original, I have had this type of battery before and got good charge time... any apps to down load that may help ?? Thanks

Also, if you use Facebook a lot then apparently this is big drain on IOS9, even if background refresh button is turned off. If you can live without Facebook app & go through Safari, this saves more battery, apparently.

Do a clean install -restore your phone as new. It's a pain but it'll probably double your battery life.
