Germany will 'do more' to fight ISIL, says Merkel

PARIS: -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel says Berlin will do more to fight ISIL.

She was speaking ahead of a working dinner with the French president in Paris on Wednesday (November 25).

Germany earlier committed 650 soldiers to the UN peacekeeping mission in Mali and more troops to train Kurdish Peshmerga fighters in Iraq.

“Terrorism is our common enemy,” said Merkel at a joint news conference with President Francois Hollande at the Elysee Paris. “It is our common job to fight it. ISIL can’t be beaten by words, so we have to fight it using military means.”

The two leaders earlier laid flowers at Place de la Republique in Paris, which has become a tribute site for the 130 people massacred in the November 13 attacks which has been claimed by ISIL fighters.

Thanks to Miss Merkel Germany can now fight Isil at home ,

I'll bet they're not whispering sweet nothings in each other's ear, more like " how do we get out of this <deleted> migrant mess we've both helped create ? "

Reviewing video footage, the chief complaints are slow internet speed, not enough free cash, and characterless accommodation. Lots of them even asking why they bothered coming to Germany at all because life was better where-ever they came from. So ms Merkel give them more cash, bigger houses and better grub and you will warm ISIS hearts, which is what i assume she means by the word "fight".

" more" of nothing so far that Germany has contribute to defeating IS, is still, as the Aussies

say, better than a kick in the ass....
