But as I am currently in Brazil I can tell you this; If that were to happen here in Brazil the taxi driver would have been attacked (and maybe have been mortally wounded) by dozens of other passing bikers. Helmets are made for this! Yet more on the wonderful taxi drivers I see, tomorrow I expect one to return a bag containing 100,000 baht to an absent minded tourist.
