tourist visa extensions and land border crossings

Featured Replies

I just went to Birmingham in the uk for for my normal 2 entry tourist visa for my winter holidays ,

they can`t do it any more , single entry only or the new multi entry TV , 5k in the bank seasoned for 6 months for the multi entry,

no prior warning for the cash requirements and the cash is currently in cyber space on the way to my thai account anyway.

Question 1 : what is the latest on 30 day extensions on the single entry tourist visa.

Question 2 : what are the land crossing borders giving to uk passport holders after the single entry has been used is it 15 days or 30.

i am only there for 123 days this winter so 3-4 nights in koh kong and a 30 day stamp at the border would suffice, or do i need to fly in and out????

Many thanks in advance the fat ficker......

Since the METV went into effect on November 13th 2 and 3 entry visa are no longer available. Plenty of topics about it on this forum.

1. No problem to get a 30 day extension for a 60 day tourist visa entry.

2. As a UK passport holder you will get a 30 day entry at a border crossing (G7 country rule) that can be extended for 30 days at an immigration office.
