Lost withholding tax receipt

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a problem.

After I changed mt job here in Thailand from a BOI-Company to a normal Thaicompany I lost my withholding tax receipt from 2014. My new employer needs it now for extending my 3 months Non Immigrant B-Visa. It looks like my old employer is not willing to give me a copy of this paper. Any idea who I can contact for getting a copy of it?

Thank you!

You should be able to get one from the local revenue department office.

Ok, I will try to get it even I'm in Phuket and my old company is in Chiang Mai ...

Thank you!

They keep everything on their database. It should not be a problem to get it from the office in Phuket.. I think all you need is your PND91 for last year.

Sorry? I dont know what you mean ...

Sorry? I dont know what you mean ...

PND.91 is the document name for personal income tax for previous year.

Ah ok. Now I got it. Thank you very much for your help.

The company you would work for always has a copy. One copy goes to you, one to the revenue department and want NEEDS to be filed in the Accounting book. You can always get back to your accountant.

Any way UJ is right, just quote your Tax ID at the revenue department and they can find it on the computer.

Yes, I know that. As I wrote before: My old employer (a very big BOI Company) dont give a copy to me, after I lost mine which I get together with the payback in March. I guess they are just pissed, because I quit there without period.
