Thailand deports three Russians wanted by Interpol

- All of them flew from Bangkok aboard a scheduled flight accompanied by Russian police officers
- Charges to be brought against Russian detained in Thailand with 6.5 kg of cocaine

BANGKOK, November 27. /TASS/.
Thai authorities have deported to Moscow on Friday three Russian citizens detained in this country at the request of Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Russia, head of the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in Thailand Vladimir Sosnov told TASS.

"Eldar Gasanguseinov, Ruslan Sibilev and Yevgeny Shalamov flew from Bangkok aboard a scheduled flight accompanied by Russian police officers," the diplomat said.

Eldar Gasanguseynov, 29, a native of Derbent (Republic of Dagestan), was detained on Phuket Island in early November. In Russia, he is accused of "large-scale theft of property by fraud and abuse of confidence committed by an organized group." In September 2014, a district court in Nizhny Novgorod, a city in the Volga region, issued a warrant for Gasanguseinov’s arrest, and in July he was put on the international wanted list.

All in Thailand long-term on "education" visa no doubt....

What a shock more foreign criminals in Thailand and Russians . Who would have thought?

I have no idea why crims still think they can 'dissappear' here.

South or Central America, any number of Carribbean states, by far the better option.

The government makes it easy for them. Why do you think there are thousands hiding here already ? Besides cheap booze and women. KFC, McDonald's , Burger King , and 7-11. A criminals heaven on Earth.

The Thai police are good at exporting criminals...

...importing...not so much.

If Thai Immigration would just check INTERPOL wanted notices more frequently they could save everyone the time and expense involved in letting wanted criminals use this country for their vacations

If they were listed by Interpol, how were they let in in the first place ? Wait a minute, its the Keystone Cops issue.
