mjhamps
Did anybody feel the tremor this morning at about 4:12 am? My condo in Jomtien shook for about 5 seconds. Edited October 8, 2006 by mjhamps
dgoz
The earth shook for me at about that time, but it had nothing to do with an earth tremor.

Soju
I just saw it reported on Thai television. I don't know what was being said, but they showed pictures of some minor damage (cracks and such) on some buildings. USGS reports it as a 5.0 quake centered in the Gulf of Thailand at 21:12:31 UTC USGS Website
Scott
At that time of the morning I don't know if I would feel it if the house fell in on me! Probably shouldn't make fun of things like that --earthquakes are capable of doing it.

appleman_thai
Yeah - I am in Cha-am and I felt it. The bed shook - and I was fast asleep. There were a couple more about 10 days ago too. All around 4 or 5 on ricter scale! Not good news!
