if anybody is just passing thru and would like to see anon and i in reality, we and his family welcome u.

we are arriving in bangkok on 01/11 and are still looking for cheapy ideas as to sleep arrangements to wait for daughter arriving 2/11 at 4:00 a.m (any new ideas /suggestions as hotels are out of our price range, we need cheap and clean beds, thats all.)

we will then head for korat presumably by bus or taxi (as suggested by issaan forum folks)......

after that we will start the paper trail runs from amphur to krungthep and back again....

yes,, we leave in last day of october arrive first of november....

samran: no, it just means the start of the paper trail for getting a real visa/stay permit as opposed to foreign worker visa (he gets an intravisa for leaving and coming back to israel), then we apply after the marriage, for a visa + permit that allows him to stay and work in israel but not dependant on an employer (as is the case now; to all those whinging about thai workpermit , here its the same situation, they hold u hostage more or less with the permit, u cant change employer, u cant leave w/o permission etc, fortunately his employer is being large hearted at the moment)....after four years he can get a residence something or other visa/permit which has to be renewed etc... and of course it is all dependant on whims and wishes of government officials (if they've had a bad hair day or not) and gov't changes of policy. (middle east, religious state, ethnocentric, etc... thailand's new policies and activities are similar to us).

we will of course have to prove we are a real couple in marriage, etc. which is rather difficult but working on it...

taking a big chance for love's sake, but have support from all virtual and real friends and relatives
