Visa More Than 90 Days

Featured Replies

I asked the Thay ambassy in Stockholm what I need for visa for 97 days. This is the answer:

"You double entry 60+60 days. Stay in Thailand first 60 days then leave Thailand 24 hours and return to Thailand again to stay 60 more days with another visa.

After all 60+60 days in Thailand then you can extend one more mth at the immigration.

After 1 mth extension, you have to leave Thailand 24 hours again to be able to return to Thailand to stay 30 more days without visa. "

Can I trust this information? I have a fealing they do´t realy know. :o

You do not have to leave 24 hours but otherwise correct information except you only need the two entries to cover the full 97 day period so no extensions would be required and long as you make your trip about midway. You could also extend on the first entry if you wanted.

Thanks.

but what do you mean with "You could also extend on the first entry if you wanted"

A two entry could be 60+30 exit/enter 60+30.

Thanks.

The 60 day stamp you get with a tourist visa can be extended by 30 days with a visit to immigration and payment of 1900 Baht.

So your double entry can do 60+30 border run 60+30 = 180 days :o

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
