Christmas concert row forces Italian school head to quit

MILAN: -- An Italian primary school headmaster has been forced to stand down after organising a Winter concert in January instead of a traditional Christmas concert – all in the name of multiculturalism.

The resignation of Marco Parma, 63, follows outrage over his decision at the school near Milan.

Some parents have expressed indignation at the move and even Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has got involved in the row.
