PHUKET: -- The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) Thalang Office has announced a major blackout affecting residential and commercial areas along the west side Thepkrasattri Rd in Koh Kaew next Wednesday (Dec 9) so that maintenance workers can replace insulation along high-voltage power cables.

The power supply will be shut down from 9am to 5pm, from Baan Sapam School to the Bang Khu Intersection in Koh Kaew, where the underpass is under construction at the northern end of the bypass road, announced the PEA.
