luke000
Its all OK except for Cheers and Leo.Chang is my choice at 5.5% all others are 5.0% Why would percentage alcohol even be a factor in which beer you like? If that's what you are after, drink moonshine. I drank beer solely for the effects and not because of the taste . So the alcohol percentage is more important than what it taste like . Although the Thai whisky is lethal , and beside , I dont consume spirits
luke000
I've not heard it for a long time, but when I first got off the boat here, they used to call Chang "Lottery beer" (that you never knew what you were getting from one bottle to the next). I believe that that was true . The Chang was unregulated , which means the alcohol content was a minimum of 6.4 % , going up to 11 % for a good bottle . That is why they introduced Chang export, which was a regulated 5 %

I drank to get drunk, so chose a strong drink. If I didnt want to get drunk, I would choose an alcohol free beer . What the beer tasted like, was just an added bonus

So if I want a chocolate cake instead of a beer, should I just go one for one on chocolate cakes? Hang on, I've got a better idea. I've liked Calpol since I was young. Should I just start drinking that when I go out? I know, I know, they do actually do that here, but I'm presuming you're not a local.
