tuanku
Dear Royal Thai police, There is something called the Internet. Sometimes you can use it to find things out that you didn't otherwise know. Here is something it took me 3 minutes to find out. Hagop Kassabian (Mr.) Managing Director Email: [email protected] Mobile: +66 (0) 85 486 3388 There is something else called e-mail. You can use it to send messages. When you want to send me the reward please e-mail me at [email protected] and I will give you my bank account details. If he is on overstay, they are entitled to hunt him down. Like the shootings in America this week. The fella worked for the company for 5 years, yet nobody new he had any terrorist connections. The idea of terrorist organisations using 'sleepers' is not new, some in Britain may have lived there years, have a steady job, and nobody would find out about any connections to terrorism until it is too late. I am in no way saying he is connected, by why overstay ? His phone number is there, give him a call and ask him. I am merely pointing out that some sitting down work on the part of the RTP might lead them very easily to these people without having to look like dickheads with these public announcements
kcirtapyelrah
It specifically indicates that four travelled to Pattaya, two to Phuket and two to Bangkok and two to unknown destinations. The alleged terrorists whereabouts and names were not identified. According to the FSB warning, their goal is to perpetrate attacks against Russian interests in the kingdom They know this much about these alleged terrorists and they KNEW the seriousness of their intent, but they can't tell where their final destination was. The whole thing is a load of <deleted>.

tomacht8
Is a lot of thai police bashing here.At least they are doing something. They have identified four Syrians overstaying. If these are not terrorists, well if that's clarified.Next step should be to check all Iraqis, Yemenis, Saudis and North Africans. The police can only form clusters when they have no concrete tips.Terrorists with EU passport will probably perpetrate an attack in Europe,on terrain they know. Also the media response would be greater. And that's one of there main objectives:Spread fear and terror supported by free PR in the mass media worldwide. TKDfella
I don't know the passport/visa/permits (if any) condition of the previous BKK bombing suspect but I doubt whether IS or any other organization would want its agents to do anything that would bring attention to themselves prior to any planned action. And if passport/entry details are are incorrect or suspicious then the holder is unlikely to have a good escape plan.

silent
Typical Thai Police Work. After the Barn Door is closed. First they said the memo may be bogus from Russia. Then they say there are 10 Syrians in Thailand Now they say 4 are on Overstay and now they are trying to locate them What a laugh They cannot get our of their own way. Good Job Boys Now go to the General who was stopped last month for a breathalyzer Test and refused to give it. You should find some comfort in knowing that your exaulted Leader knows how to hoodwink everyone and just follow his lead Knee jerk reactions from too many knees and jerks is all. Shawn0001
Too trivial for such a serious topic, but have they googled? For a moment I thought to describe in detail what I found for Hagop E. Kassabian. But look for yourself. Picture from Dec 4 (!) of his son (?) in front of a Thai school wall board. And he on the other pictures really looks like the "suspect" If anything is true on his FB profile it shouldn't be too hard to visit him and ask why he overstayed Fully agree with post #8. According to his posts he is an Armenian and a Christian.

Thaidream
Just because a person of Syrian nationality has overstayed does not make him a suspected terrorist. However, the Thai police have to target people who generally fit the profile of where terrorists are coming from. It is being done everywhere now and unfortunately innocent people will be come a casualty of this hunt

bangrak
Your typical BiB <deleted> up, the Russian 'intelligence' (at least they have some...) was about 10 Syrians entering between 15 and 31 of October, right? So, what do the numbnuts here do? Hunt on 4 ...Syrians who entered well before, because they are ...in overstay! Keystone cops revisited! Imagine trained guys sent out by well organised, and funded, organisations to commit terrorist attacks in Thailand, entering with 'perfect'(?!) passports and getting official visa, ...who would be dumb enough not to renew or do a visa-run, and (maybe...) get in the spotlight because of it... IMO, just part of PR on RTP's (looow) level: hmm; Syrians are terrorists, let us check on the computer (what they should ALWAYS and automatically do, not only for Syrians, but...), ah, yes, just found you four in overstay long time, alaaarm... Are Mickey Mouse cartoons magazines part of the curriculum in graduation year at the Police academy here (in edited Thai version...), or do these come later only for specialists? BlindMagician
but the terrorists entered 16-30.10, not before that. most probably those 10 suspects already left, on any other passport, but syrian. Only after 15.12, when their tourist visa expires, emmigration will know, who they were. 16-30.10?Is that code? It's certainly not a date on this planet. I think it means between 16 and 30 October, but very very short -284 perhaps
