Soi Polo 7 community hit by big fire

BANGKOK: A big fire broke out at Soi Polo 7 in Lumpini area at about 3 am Sunday morning, police said.

Firefighters took about two hours to bring the situation under control.

The blaze began at one of the wooden houses in the community located on the narrow soi.

Damages are being assessed. Soi Polo is close to Lumpini police station and Japanese embassy.
