We used to frequently travel between BKK and Chanthaburi until 2 years ago. We travelled on big busses from Ekamai, they were very frequent. Just go to the bus station and wait a short while for the next bus to Chanthaburi / Trat. There are small busses too, but they have a bad reputation for safety. About 4 hours. Enjoy Chanthaburi!
