Thailand Prepares for Next 4G Bid
BY JACOB MASLOW

BANGKOK: -- The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) expects the upcoming 4G bids to far exceed last month’s bids, which reached 60 billion baht. The auction will include 900 MHz spectrum licenses and will begin next Tuesday, December 15, 2015.

Takorn Tantasith, the NBTC secretary, made a comment that prices for the 900 MHz license may reach 3 billion baht per megahertz. This would be an 11.1% increase per megahertz over the 1800 MHz license bids provided last month.

Two licenses are planned to be auctioned on December 15, with each license providing 10 MHz bandwidth. Licenses will be granted for a term of 15 years, which is three years shorter than the term granted for the 1800 MHz licenses provided last month.

4G, 5G, 10G... all the same crap to me, I still can't make a phone call and finish it without the line to cut

several times and I live in mid Sukhumvit and using AIS.....

I experience that problem too. But only in busy areas in BKK, anywhere else in the country I think the quality of both calls and internet speed are very good. (Using True H)
