I've been given a quote for a new garden and wanted to check the reasonableness of the prices. Being quite a way from any large plant nursery, checking prices online would be a boon. Thanks. willyumiii Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 I doubt it. I am a "plant nut" , Arborist, Horticulturist and old nurseryman from California. I spend a lot of time just checking out nurseries and find prices vary a great deal form nursery to nursery. I also find that most nurseries are willing to barter..they start high and adjust the price when you ask. I recently purchased a huge orchid for one third of the price they were asking when it was in bloom. Two weeks later, it has three spikes getting teady to flower again! ( see photos) I don't think there is any 'price standard" in Thailand, so finding prices online is unlikely.
