roo860
Just spotted the first of many jet ski operators arriving in Chiang Mai, spoke to one he said was setting up at Tapae area. Be warned.

Tywais
It's going to be interesting watching jet skis operating in the Moat. No problem with these.
chiang mai
Maybe you misheard and really he's going to convert his jet ski to a snowmobile for use in the mountains, Chiang Mai skiers beware of this forthcoming scam. mamborobert
Now all they need is some of those tourist type people. Anybody running a book on when first person gets a major laceration, partial amputation, concussion, drowning, maybe a double on nationality and injury. Can we at least make the moat one way, that will improve my bet as to first nationality injured. Edited December 12, 2015 by mamborobert
roo860
The guy said he's more than happy to rent to Chinese, as there is a very good chance they will crash them, he can then extort a sizable amount of money from them, his brother Police Sargent Takeycash agreed. cyberfarang
This is a great business idea, the man has anticipated the great Chiang Mai floods expected during the next rainy season.
Mousehound
I hear they are going to freeze the moat - great for skating but a bit harsh at Song khran.

NancyL
I was going to ask Tywais if he could find a cat-sized jet ski for me to bring Mr. Bitey out to the Moat: when I happened to find several videos on the internet that show perfectly reasonable looking people, like the lady above, who seem to use jet skis at reasonable speeds to run errands -- with their pets. Oh, how boring it is to live away from the ocean.
