PATTAYA:-- Late on Friday Night, Walking Street in South Pattaya was the location for the launch of a new Pattaya Police Mobile Public Service Point which aims to offer a full Police service at various locations around Pattaya.

Police Colonel Sukthat, the Pattaya Police Chief was on-hand to pose for pictures and inform members of the public of this new service which aims to increase security for Tourists and others who frequent the entertainment areas of Pattaya at night.

The mobile unit will be operational between the hours of 8pm and Midnight, 7 days a week and will change location on a regular basis but will be situated mostly in the South Pattaya area which features the majority of late night entertainment venues aimed at serving the Tourist community of Pattaya.

A great move!........Just have to rein in the ladyboys ......but is 4 hours of operation enough..:)))) ?

Better from midnight to sunrise where the ladyboys hit hard biggrin.png

clever moving it around so no one knows where it is. should cut down on the work load.

Just how will this "mobile unit" benefit tourists more so than the "tourist police" ?

Wondering what their purpose is.

And seems abit half-hearted only being operational for 4 hours a day.

Probable after a few days only ever been seen at start of Walking Street, ...when not on other business. whistling.gif
