I was arrested, detained and removed from UK for using deception in one of my visa applications.

Now I want to apply for a tourist visa to Thailand. Is it worth a try???

Nothing is stamped on my passport except some number written by UK border force on the passport. No removal stamps or deportation stamps.

Please advise If I can try for a tourist visa to Thailand??

Of course you can. quality tourists are the name of the game

Just pop in they allow all sorts in Thailand. come on any form of entry, visa exempt or tourist.

May one ask what is your native citizenship ?

I worked for the UK border agency,can you explain where you were deported from and for what reasons please,just to clarify,this will make answering your questions here far easier.

How were you deported ?

What visa were you using to stay in the UK before being deported ?

You will likely get less scrutiny than someone say from Nigeria. If there is no record in your passport of deportation...you might as well take a shot.

The reason for your deportation from the UK will be the criteria if the information is shared with Thailand
