Single Entry Tourist Visa In Hanoi (agent Recommedations?)

Featured Replies

Okay

I am going to visit Vietnam the end of this month and want to get a single entry (60 day) Thai Tourist Visa in Hanoi. Anyone have any experience there? Any tips?

Are there agents I can use? Any contact info? I would prefer not to get the 3rd degree from the Thai officials. Life is too short.

Hey... anyone has a answer to his question ? I'm gonna do the same this august. Going to vietnam, to get a tourist visa... Are they nice there ? will they deliver it like that ? it'll be my 4th visa.

Thanks for your help guys

Just go to the Vietnamese embassy on Wittayu, (just before All Seasons Place going south, towards Rama IV). Put in your passport with completed application form which you can download from their website (below). You can either pay THB1,850 for a single and collect after 4 working days, or more (THB2,000 - can't remember - if you want to collect same day). Office is open 08.30-11.30 and 13.30-16.30. If you want same day collection you have to lodge in the morning. You can ring the embassy for further details: 0-2251 7202. Single visas are for 30 days I think, but check with embassy. If they are posting in the right forum believe they are asking about obtaining visas for Thailand while in Vietnam. Believe air tickets have to be shown to Embassy now but I could be wrong. Have not seen anyone report using agents. Hopefully someone can fill in the blanks.

The embassy in Hanoi is fine, i went there a few months ago. it was easy, nobody there and was not asked any questions. I did however have to show my onward air ticket, but just bought a cheap air-asia ticket to Cambodia. I dropped it off in the morning and got it back the afternoon of the next day, no issues at all.
