Is a TM30 needed for a tourist visa extension?

Featured Replies

hey, i need to extend my tourist visa.

i am staying with a thai friend's family.

will they ask about a TM30 form when I go to get the tourist visa extension?

i've not done the TM30 before.

or should i just stay in a hotel for a few days and use that address?

Depends on the office you apply at. Some do want a TM30 with a signed copy of the owner/house-masters ID and house book

If you stay in a hotel and use that address a TM30 won't be needed, but some offices might want to see a receipt from the hotel showing it's address.

No the owner doesn't need to go with you just sign the copies.
