Can anyone recommend a car/jeep rental in the Rawai/Chalong area with First Class insurance (a must). Thanks.

I use always Budget if i need a car.

Never any problem and almost the same price as the independent guys.

I have given up with the independent guys when hiring a car, when asked if full insurance they all say yes, no problem. But then when read the contract I find all sorts of caveats.

I would think all car rental places in Rawai/Chalong are independents. Sure big companies like Avis, Budget, Avis tend to be a bit more expensive but I always choose for piece of mind, and most will deiver to Rawai/Chalong.

I've used A1 Car Rentals several times.

It's run by a Brit, Colin Minett, and is significantly cheaper than the biggies.
