the embroidery needed would be a corporate logo of about 85cm x 90cm embroidered on a flag (banner) of 150cm high and 95cm wide

and this we need twice

If you are in Bangkok there are many Embroidery places in Bo Bae tower ,

and if you have an ipad -iphone you might want to get this app

https://itunes.apple.com/app/id596359965

its free right now ,

but your logo needs to be converted to a file the embroidery machine can use ,

For such an embroidery work you need a single head machine with a big frame.

The embroidery machine in the "t-shirt" shops is the right machine, but you need a bigger frame for it and you still would need to reframe the item several times. Most shops do not have those frames.

The embroidery shops in Bobe have big machines with 6 or 30 heads, but these heads not run independently. All heads running the same design. With such a machine you can make quickly 30 patches or 30 shirts, but it is not possible to make one large motif.

You need something like this:

Just an example:

For an embroidered area of 90x90cm 100% full embroidery with a medium density Tatami stitch you would need about 600.000 stitches.

Machine runs at 800 rpm max. Color change, cutting thread etc slows the machine down. So calculate with 700 stitches per minute.

600000:700=860 minutes for one item, that is more then 14 hours ! If anything goes wrong half way, you'll start over again.

If your motif does have a large background color you could save a lot of stitches which makes production faster, but still that kind of work is not cheap.

are you doing this because you want a flag or because you want an embroidered flag ?

because you can make a hybrid embroidered flag if the logo design works ,

basic idea is to break up the design into colors , cut the pieces out of cloth and sew the cloth pieces on the flag ,

then go around the edges with an embroidery machine.

This is how they do a lot of jackets.

and where can this be found in Pattaya or even Bangkok?
