Hi

I am going to extend my NON "O" visa based on work in thai land.
I have salary in Thailand > 50000 for 2 years so it should be okay...

Question:

What kind of documentation do the immigration require for extending

a NON "O" (Marriage visa) based on salary (Not 400000) ?

1. Contract with Company ?
2. PND91 ?
3. Company reg. papers ?
4. Work permit ?

5. Paychecks ?
6. Bankbook

If you want to extend based upon marriage you do not need to meet the 50k baht salary requirement to do an extension based upon working. You only need 40k baht of income. You will need a work permit and proof of income by showing tax payments as proof.

Any other documents needed would depend upon the office you apply at.

Or are you asking about extending based on work as stated but that you do not have a B visa but entered on an O visa based on your marriage? Has the work permit been issued (some offices want a B visa while others will issue on O visa entry).

I once had a 'B'visa, but I changed company and was required to get a new visa. Then I desided to use my old Non'O' instead.. Much easyer when you change job

But not all labor offices like them - sometimes because they confuse with retirement where is work permit will not normally be issued and other times they just refuse to accept anything but B visa.

I think there are very few work permit offices that refuse to accept a non-o visa or an extension of stay based upon marriage ot get a work permit now. The most important thing to do is attach a copy of the marriage certificate to the application.

A lot of the posts about them not accepting the non-o has been second hand information coming from agents and lawyers who may of intentionally given false info about it to get more money out of their client that would be needed to get the non-b visa and extension under clause 2.1 of the police order.
