As requested by the head of state, the Cambodian Royal King will spend official three days visiting the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, starting from Monday.

In a Royal Letter, dated December 19, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdach King Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia said, he would be absent from the country from today to Wednesday in order to make an official visit as requested by Choummaly Sayasone, head of state of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

According to the letter, during his absence, King Norodom Sihamoni will grant his status to Say Chhum, president of the Senate, making him acting head of the kingdom of Cambodia.
