Min of Foreign Affairs reports progress in diplomatic relations, tourism

BANGKOK, 25 December 2015 (NNT) - The Foreign Minister has reported on his achievements over the past year, which include developments in Thailand's foreign policy, national security, and economy.

Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said during his annual report that his ministry has contributed Thailand's economic interests by advocating the Kingdom's trade, investment, tourism, and diplomacy. He said the ministry always takes into consideration the interests of the Thai people and the nation.

Mr. Don spoke about the increase in foreign tourists this year, which he attributed to Thailand's strategic geography in the region, as well as its art, culture, lifestyle, and cuisine. The Foreign Minister also took the tourism figure as a sign of strong diplomatic relations, which he says the ministry will take care to refine further.
