December 29, 201510 yr Before this turns into a wild goose chase, I was wondering if anyone out there knows where you can buy more expensive high quality spray paint and with a wide selection of colors. I've gone to the best hardware and paint stores and struck out. Number one on the list is a copper color (not gold). Do auto shops sell touch up paint in spray cans. Any suggestions?
December 29, 201510 yr Luther, the best place that Ive found for automotive laquer in a rattle (spray) can is on the same road as the UN Irish Pub. I think its called Nippon Paints and its back closer to the moat, across from that big new white building. The brand is Leyland. K800 is the code for copper. Its not an expensive paint (About 65 baht per can) but its the best that Ive found in a rattle can. Good pressure without spitting gobs of paint even when its nearly all gone. Just make sure you shake the can before and during application (You probably already know this) The boss man speaks a bit of English and they also can mix paints. Well worth a look/try. Oh forgot to add, the Leyland range has a vast amount of colours including candy colours which can be applied after putting down a sparkle coat....very retro 60s style. Have done up many a scooter using this paint and its not let me down yet. And Im no professional painter. Edited December 29, 201510 yr by CMKiwi
