Army Commander-in-Chief thanks all parties for monitoring unusual situations

BANGKOK, 4 January 2015 (NNT) – Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) Spokesman Banphot Poolpian, disclosed that the various activities associated with the countdown to New Year 2016, had greatly impressed the public and tourists.

The Army Commander in Chief, Theerachai Nakwanit as ISOC Deputy Director has asked him to thank all government agencies and members of the public sector for monitoring unusual situations by giving priority to preventive measures according to the orders of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha as ISOC Director, and Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Prawit Wongsuwan who assigned all agencies to monitor the situation and enhanced security measures by asking the general public to help monitor their local areas.

Keep on watching each other.

More self-congratulation and both the public and tourists were impressed but how do they know, did they conduct a poll ?

Oh sorry, no poll but the general knows if one had been done the answers would naturally be oh so overwhelmingly positive.

Except the Government, you can't monitor them and there unusual situations or you will be sent for

Attitude adjustment

99.4% of Thai people agreed that there are 'unusual situations' in Thailand

I wonder if the ISOC Deputy Director has been monitoring unusual situations and giving priority to preventive measures after arrest warrants were issued in 2015 against four mid-level officers from ISOC for human trafficking in the South?

Maybe it's best he looks outward and not inward.

What a non-story! How do they know? You can't measure an unknown. Just because there were no incidents does not necessarily mean that members of the public were any more vigilant than normal, or that preventative measures were successful!

The most unusual situitation in this country at the moment IS the military. So who is monitoring them?
