ADELAIDE: -- PORT Lincoln is in shock after the bodies of a father and his two small children were pulled from a car driven off the coastal town’s main wharf early today.

Police divers recovered the bodies several hours after witnesses reported the white Ford station wagon plummeting from the wharf into 30m-deep water around 6am.

The divers - flown from Adelaide - emerged from the water at 12.30pm with three body bags and a rifle with a telescopic sight.

Locals expressed shock as news of the tragedy swept through the town and across South Australia.
