Hi,

On 21st November 2005 I was issued a double entry tourist visa from Liverpool, England. It expired on 20th May 2006 of which I went to Pinang, Malaysia for another double entry tourist visa. I was issued with this for 200RM and returned to Thailand. Now this is going to fully expire on 10th November 2006.

My question is, would I be able to get another tourist visa from Pinang and can I get a double entry? Or are the consulate only issuing a single entry now because of the changes with visa regulations?

There have been numerous reports indicating that only single-entry tourist visas are available from Penang for the last month.

I've heard rumours that 2 and 3-entries have been possible out of KL, but I stress they are only rumours.

I would not count on getting anything more than a single-entry tourist visa in Malaysia.
