Looking a new job, does it worth a ED to apply,in the meantime?

Featured Replies

I am a european passport holder, looking for a new job.

As I'm currently on tourist visa,I was wondering if till I find a new job,is wiser to apply for ED visa,in terms of saving money and travel- hazzle.

Thank you for any advise.

Have you checked the cost of enrollment in a school to get 400 hours of study now required to get the visa and 90 day extensions.

I think you may find it better to stay on tourist visas.

If you don't have mobility restrictions traveling in the region shouldn't be a hassle.

Cheaper than ED school costs and hassles.

Get a leave pass from the tirak (or take her with you) and you can explore the neighbouring regions.

You can learn a bit of a few languages, not just nid noi Thai.

You know when you have to go for the next year or so, look for airline sales (like 0 Baht Phuket-Bali return, just pay taxes) - I and all my friends here enjoyed the mini holidays out of the country every 90 days (back in the days when I could climb stairs).

Not unless you are serious to learn Thai and spend years in Thailand.

And may I suggest that if you can speak Thai your chances of finding work will be greatly increased.
