In the post you first commented on, I wrote : "Suthep and the Democrats.:" By that I meant : Suthep AND the Democrats. In no way did I indicate that Suthep was a member of the Democrat Party.

If I had written : " Thaksin and the Democrats" You would have concluded, that Mr T is a member of the Democrat Party??

Ah, so "Thaksin and the Pheu Thai" would get a new meaning as well?

As for the quotes, don't worry. I think all of us have such problems every once in a while. The forum software can have some tricky effects when replying to a post and you 'touch' something.
