Not a go go dancer?

If the pay is so low, why do we pay first world prices for coffee?

Because they are a corporation and have managed to out smart the masses?

And pay zero tax.

Look at the muay thai gyms and that whole industry in Thailand. You are practically paying the equivalent of two Thai trainers monthly wage for the training. That's an even more extreme example.

Because we are suckers..................................coffee1.gif

and the coffee beans are low quality and burnt

How much does SB barista make in Thailand? Is it a little better paid job (with some benefits) like in North America?

Sad. Those who have the will, compassion and drive to become doctors will likely never have the chance.

Those who have the opportunity to make a difference will likely just inherit their parents' coffee franchise. Easy money.

IMO the best cappucios in Thailand can be found somewhere utter remote, on some lowkey hilly/winding "highway" where some utter bored but dedicated girl sits in a booth/chalet with a/c waiting for customers and it takes her 15 minutes to prepare a cappuccio (finished with obligatory cheesy heart-design in the whipped milk). if u happen to come as a duo and u want 2 cappuccios she will make them seperately. thumbsup.gifcoffee1.gifthumbsup.gif so when yours is empty your companion's cup gets served. coffee1.gifclap2.gifcoffee1.gif upon leaving you tell her the coffee was aroi and she will feel special for the rest of the month year life ...................
