January 10, 201610 yr Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get an Ed Visa in Vientiane? I plan on flying there on a Sunday afternoon and submitting my application first thing Monday morning. I'm just wondering when I could pick it up so that I can book my return flight. Cheers. Edited January 10, 201610 yr by Cynical Sailor

January 10, 201610 yr Should ready by the next afternoon , about 2 PM No, at anytime from 1pm onwards. :-)
January 10, 201610 yr Your school will know what is needed to get the visa and supply you with all the required documents. You apply by 11:30 am on one day and pick nit up the next afternoon at 1:30. If possible I suggest you avoid doing the application on a Monday since that is a very busy day since it is a visa run van day. Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days.

January 10, 201610 yr If you do it on a Monday, get up early and be there before they open. I went there last Monday, got there at 7:30 and was out by 9:30.
January 10, 201610 yr You must be planning well ahead of time. Since the next holiday is not until 22 February for Makha Bucha Day.

January 10, 201610 yr One other thing, you need the full address of where you'll be staying in Thailand. A building name, with street and city won't cut it. I learned that the hard way
