January 11, 201610 yr Good that it was not a poisonous species and they caught it quickly. Probably the snake was more scared than the passengers. What I don't understand is why they would downplay the size whereas if it was poisonous the smaller size would be more toxic?
January 11, 201610 yr Hmm snakes on a plane there's a title for a movie However i am more concerned re the guns etc that seem to get through! Thats what should be challenged
January 11, 201610 yr A "brief panic" broke out - because of a snake? How did that "brief panic" manifest itself? Throngs of people stampeding through the airport screaming "a snake, a snake!!!"? Oh, dear... if a snake is all what it takes to trigger a panic...

January 11, 201610 yr I'm not sure if the picture is of the same snake involved in the incident, but that is not a python. It looks more like a Malayan bridle snake.
January 11, 201610 yr Python! Who writes these articles? It's Lycoden laoensis or the laotian wolf snake. It looks venomous but it's a copy cat pattern. It its yellow and black look for even stripes going all the way to the tail, then you have a proper yellow banded krait.
January 11, 201610 yr Photo opportunity.Any female Chinese tourist would accept a kiss from it as a TAT promotion.
January 11, 201610 yr My "trouser snake" has entered many airports undetected You must have a very small snake then
January 11, 201610 yr wouldn't be the first snake in that airport and certainly won't be the last. LOL! There are snakes there all the time. They are just of the two legged variety.
January 11, 201610 yr Did they check its password to make sure it wasn't an overstay before releasing it?

January 11, 201610 yr Build an airport on a swamp....you will get snakes! Indeed. And Bangkok was built on both swamp and wetland. What we get is one rather polluted sinking high population density area.
January 11, 201610 yr and while everyone was busy with the snake, the real criminal elements slipped in unnoticed. smooth! i hate snakes!!!
January 11, 201610 yr Was it one of those talking snakes, like the one in the bible? They must have had a hell of a time shaking it down for bribe money.
