Cambodia's police have asked their counterparts in Thailand to provide help to enhance the ability of the Kingdom’s force to carry out anti-terrorism investigations, according to the National Police website.

The request was made during a meeting on Tuesday between the two countries’ law enforcement agencies, presided over by deputy National Police commissioner Chhay Sinarith and his Thai counterpart, Wuthi Liptapallop, according to a post published yesterday.

“HE Chhay Sinarith requested the delegates of the Thai police to help provide documents about terrorism to the Cambodian police in order to strengthen the capacity of police, especially cooperation around investigations,” the posting said.
