Non Immigrant B Visa with Multiple Entry

Featured Replies

Need some help please to understand my visa.

I was issued this visa on 25 february 2015 with an enter before date of 24 february 2016. My last visa run was 12 december 2015 .and I re-entered the Kingdom on 15 december 2015. The stamp advises the admission is until 13 march 2016.

My question is: Do I exit and re-enter before 24 February 2016 I get an additional 90 days OR can i exit and re-enter before 13 march 2016 and get and get an additional 90 days?

  • You will need to exit and re-enter on or before Feb 24th to get 90 days as that is the day the visa expires.

If you enter after the 24th (e.g. Mar 13th) you would only be granted a 15 or 30 day visa exempt entry unless you get a new visa.

Yes, however, you don't need to stay out of the country for a day. You can exit, enter a neighbouring country, turn around and go straight back into Thailand.

If you don't have your own transport then there are visa run companies working out of Bangkok that will take you to the Cambodian border by mini van. Not sure how much they charge these days but it's not expensive and the least hassle.

I don't have personal experience to recommend any. You should find a few via google, but here is one that leaves from On Nut which isn't far from you.

Due to a solicitor friends advice I am flying 3rd feb and returning same day to/from Singapore...total cost under 4000bht. Apparently they are looking closely on B visas and ed visas atm. apparently they can deny me access back into Thailand.

You could also attempt a train border run Hua Lamphong to Padang Besar (#35), then come back to hat yai and then another train hat yai to bangkok. ( ....unless you wanted to hang out at Padang Besar for an extra 8 hours and wait for the #36 that goes straight back to Bangkok).

That's over 24 hours, but it is all air cond with sleeper and under 3k baht, including a sleeper and 2-3 meals (or BYO Food).

You could also go all the way to butterworth and hang out in Georgetown for a night. Come back via train or take direct flight to bangkok.
