Hi, I am on a Student Visa here attending University for a Masters, looking though the pages on TV I note that for a Certificate or Residence it seems at CW a 90 day report is needed. I came on a single entry and then got an extension after 90 days, I have not done a 90 day report since then as I have traveled outside Thailand.

Does anyone know if CW will issue a Certificate of residence under these situations as I had an extension plus showing my lease or do I need to deal with the Australian embassy.

Thanks.

You could try to get one at Chaeng Wattana since you have an extension of stay. They ,might issue one since you have not been required to do a report yet. If they accept the application it will be 3 weeks before you get the certificate by EMS.

From my recent experience, it will be waste of your time to deal with CW if you haven't done a 90 day reporting yet.

Go the embassy way, its costlier but easier and faster than CW. Look up for the requirements on your embassy website though before turning up there.

Cheers
