Vientiane border fee cost

Featured Replies

Hi All,

does anybody confirm that fee for crossing Thai -Laos border is still USD 30 (or Bath 1500)?

Thanks in advance

The fee for a Lao visa on arrival depends upon your nationality. For most it is $30 but for others it can be $35 or $42.

See: http://www.laos-guide-999.com/visa-on-arrival.html

$35 for Americans, was there last week, and it's an extra dollar if you're there on a holiday or Sunday, maybe Saturday too, not sure on that though.

They were also using webcams so didn't need any photos. One less hassle.

Tks All...

I am Italian but I did not find the actual fee cost for us....

From website I posted a link to "Others 30".

Take a couple of US twenties to play it safe.
