Off the beaten track tours

Featured Replies

Any suggestions for tour operators offering "off the beaten track tours"? Not looking for xtreme jungle treks. Just general interest Thai stuff, that farang tourists don't often frequent.

Where do you live/Where are you based ? There are Thai-language tours based in Bangkok. Look in The Nation. or the Thai-language newspapers. Depending on your definition, and how much you are willing to pay, it could be hard to find "off the beaten track" tours with English-language guides.

I just sent you a Private Mail regarding a TV commercial that came on while I was typing the above. No personal experience with this company.

Googled thong pha phum and found this

"Overlooked by mountains – and most tourists – Thong Pha Phum is a small but busy junction town that people exploring the national parks of northern Kanchanaburi will probably pass through."

Thanks
